Carry Pumps have been used successfully in manufactured housing communities, shopping complex parking lots for water retention ponds, and in golf courses for storm water drainage. These pumps can be used singularly or in parallel to transfer storm water from storm systems, storage areas and tiled applications to man-made retention ponds, municipal storm water systems, and natural ponds and streams. As a reminder, these pumps are not trash pumps and should not be placed in applications where there is the potential for debris larger than a 1/2" solid. Strainer Screens are available for use with Carry Pumps that prevent debris larger than 1/2" access to the pump. Screens or grates on inlets and drains can also be used to prevent clogging the pump with debris. The use of Strainer Screens and screens or grates on inlets requires maintenance on these screens or grates to prevent the build-up of debris that can starve the pump of water during operation. If you have any questions regarding the sizing of a pump or pumps for your application, please give us a call or an email with your specific questions. We will be glad to help answer your questions.
