CONTROL PANELS FOR MULTI PUMP APPLICATIONS
Duplex Control Panels:
These panels are used in applications where two pumps of equal horsepower, phase and voltage are required to meet the needs of the application. Standard single phase duplex panels are equipped with a single phase control panel for each pump in a single enclosure with Auto-Off-Test Switches for each pump and an alternating relay. Delux single phase duplex control panels include pump run lights mounted on the top of the enclosure for each pump. Standard three phase duplex panels are equipped with motor starters for each pump, Auto-Off-Test Switches for each pump, a transformer and an alternating relay. Delux three phase duplex panels include pump run lights mounted on the top of the enclosure for each pump. Alternating relays alternate the lead pump for each pump cycle. All duplex control panels operate using sensor floats instead of DFD mercury floats.
Triplex Control Panels:
These panels are used in applications where three pumps of equal horsepower, phase and voltage are required to meet the needs of the application. Standard three phase triplex panels are equipped with motor starters for each pump, Auto-Off-Test Switches for each pump, a transformer and an alternating relay. Delux three phase triplex panels include pump run lights mounted on the top of the enclosure for each pump. Alternating relays alternate the lead pump for each cycle. All triplex control panels operate using sensor floats instead of DFD mercury floats.
Quadplex Control Panels:
These panels are used in applications where four pumps of equal horsepower, phase and voltage are required to meet the needs of the application. Standard three phase quadplex panels are equipped with motor starters for each pump, Auto-Off-Test Switches for each pump, a transformer and an alternating relay. Delux three phase quadplex panels include pump run lights mounted on the top of the enclosure for each pump. Alternating relays alternate the lead pump for each cycle. All quadplex control panels operate using sensor floats instead of DFD mercury floats.

CUSTOM DESIGNED CONTROL PANELS
Carry Manufacturing, Inc. can design and manufacture custom
control panels to meet the needs of your specific application. If a
standard or delux control panel will not meet all the requirements of your
application, please contact Carry Manufacturing, Inc. and we will assist you in
designing a custom control panel. ![]()
OTHER ELECTRICAL CONTROL OPTIONS
PUMPTEC PROTECTION SYSTEMS
PUMPTEC
is a solid state, load sensing control that monitors motor load and
automatically shuts off a Franklin single phase submersible motor when the motor
load drops below a preset level for a minimum of 4 seconds. PUMPTEC protects
against: low yield wells, worn pump parts, drop in water level, broken
shaft or coupling, clogged pump screen, air or gas locked pump and low voltage
(below 90V) for 115V systems or (below 180V) for 230V systems.
These kits are available to add functionality to your Franklin Electric Single Phase Control Panels from 1/2HP to 1-1/2HP.
PUMPTEC-PLUS PROTECTION
SYSTEMS
Franklin Electric's solid state pump protection system is programmed to prevent damage to 230 Volt - 60 Hertz, Single Phase Submersible pump motors when any one of the following conditions occur: low yield well, high or low voltage, faulty check valve, water logged tank, mud or sand clogging, cavitation (air lock), rapid cycling, drop in water level or power surges. Push button Snap Shot calibration makes Pumptec-Plus simple to install and an effective troubleshooting tool.
These kits are available to add functionality to your Franklin Electric Single Phase Control Panels from 1/2HP to 5HP.
SUBMONITOR THREE PHASE PROTECTION
The
SubMonitor is designed to protect 3 phase pumps with service factor amp ratings
(SFA) from 3 to 359A (3 - 15HP). Current, voltage and motor temperature
are monitored using three integrated current transformers. A digital
display provides current and voltage readings for all three legs and allows the
user to set up the SubMonitor quickly and easily. Carry Pumps must be
equipped with Subtrol protected motors in order to use the SubMonitor
devise. The SubMonitor protects against: under/overload, under/overvoltage,
current unbalance, overheaded motor, false start (chattering) and phase
reversal.
